These are my people. Some I know quite well. Others, I've never laid eyes on. Some are familiar to me only through stories that have been passed down, told, re-told, memorized. This is the family I was born into. And the family I picked up along the way.  A group of people so beautiful, strong, frail, full, human & capable of such love. This is my history, our story, proclaimed loudly, without words, told only through  faces, still images which capture perfectly every aspect of the human condition.
